The Decemberists caught my ear a couple years ago with their hauntingly powerful indie/rock sound that is so fresh and new it lacks proper comparison. They caught my attention more recently with their great cover of the Grateful Dead's "Row Jimmy," which was released along with "January Hymn" as an EP. As it turns out, all this buzz is leading up to the release of their LP, The King Is Dead, due out Jan. 18.

This studio focuses on various techniques of Community Partner: The Women’s Centerpolygon mesh modelling utilising Maya to achieve high- end results in architectural design that will plug in to the metaverse. The processes covered over the two-day tutorials will involve utilising polygon primitives as a starting point, altering their faces, edges and vertices with mesh modelling operations to achieve a complex polygon geometries as a result.
